Medicaid & ACA Literacy
Young Invincibles attends the PWAFC as requested to answer questions on health insurance and Medicaid options. The PWAFC is community partners with the managed care organizations that serve the state and can make appoitnments for patients to meet with them on-site at the PWAFC.
Winter Drives
As winter draws closer, we will begin drives to collect toys, books, holiday dinners and coats for our patient's families. If you or your organization would like to host a drive for the clinic, please fill out our contact form and we will respond quickly.

We are currently seeking donations to our food pantry. For more information visit click here.
Monday Farmer's Market--Closed for the Season
In partnership with the Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) and the Dale City Farmer's Market, the PWAFC is able to provide fresh, healthy, and free food to our patients. Every Monday, we have approximately 250 to 350 pounds of food available for patients who come to our clinic that day. We expect to continue this program as long as surplus vegetables are available.

While we do not place a limit on how much food each family can take, we do ask that patients take no more than their own family needs and will consume.

VCE has been able to provide
us with recipes for vegetables to show our patients, if they choose, how to prepare their vegetables in delicious and healthy ways.
School Supply Drive
Saved Hands Foundation (SHF), led by Executive Director Pamela Wright, hosts a Back to School school-supplies give-away at the clinic. While the drive has concluded for this year, the PWAFC looks forward to partnering with SHF during our upcoming health fair.
Health Fair
Every year, the PWAFC hosts a health fair where, through the work of the Woodbridge Lion's Club, we offer vision and hearing exams. We also offer patients opportunites to speak with 30 community partners, learn CPR through the work of Sentara, take a nutritional class, have a free lunch from Todos and play with their children in the games and bounce house provided by Image church.  The next health fair will be held between May and June of 2018.
SNAP Application
NVFS's SERVE, in partnership with the PWAFC, sends a representative of their SNAP Application Assistance program to the clinic once a week on Wednesday mornings. To meet with the representative, please visit Reception or call (703) 496-9405 to leave a voicemail expressing your interest in an appointment, or walk-in.
