Primary Care

The PWAFC strives to be our patients' primary-care home. We do our best to schedule our patients with the same providers for each visit. The PWAFC provides care for patients of all ages. Our services include:

  • Acute and chronic illness management
  • Labs and imaging diagnostics provided by Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center and Novant and UVA Health Systems
  • Well-woman appointments for women over the age of 40. This includes pap smears and mammograms provided by Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center and Novant and UVA Health Systems
  • Specialty and hospital referrals as needed
  • Behavioral healthcare -- counseling


Services We Do Not Provide

There are certain services we do not provide at this time:

  • STDs testing and treatment. Please contact your local health department.
  • Pregnant-patients or obstetrics services. Please contact the Greater Prince William Health Center or Sentara Health System.
  • Immunizations. Please contact your health department.
  • Hormone replacement therapy
  • Disability paperwork. We cannot sign any forms related to this; we can only send a copy of your records if they are requested.
  • Workman's compensation, pre-surgery approvals, or other forms. We cannot sign any such related forms; we can only send a copy of your records if they are requested.
